Tokyo Communication Arts
Car Design Department, Car Design Course Son Hishiiku (graduated in 1995)
I had a lot of trouble at first, after I graduated from TCA and found employment home. Since I started my career later than my peers, I decided to make up for my lost time. I worked from early in the morning until late at night, which eventually lead to a promotion to group manager with nine subordinates. I had a very tough experience with my life in Japan, but this gave me encouragement to do my best. Currently, IΥm in charge of the brand and trend design of production vehicles at the Design Development division of KIA R & D Headquarters. I've been told that I will be transferred to the Advanced Design division that handles the design of show cars. What I found the most rewarding about my learning experience at TCA was that I made a lot of friends on the same career path both in Korea and Japan. I also found advice from my teachers helpful. TheyΥre good competitors as well as supporters for me.

Tokyo School of Music
Professional Music Department, Keyboard Course Ri Quonhi (graduated in 1995)
I play the keyboard in a rock band named Love & Peace that was started in 1978. I had studied music on my own, but what benefited me most in my learning at TSM was that I had my knowledge organized systematically. This experience enlarged my horizons, giving enrichment to my music and view of life. I studied abroad at a much older age than most students, but I know I tried all the harder for this and now feel confident in myself. I have been delivering lectures on MIDI, Jazz piano, and music theory for three years. I have also released seven albums. Though I had a very hard time when studying in Japan, I was relieved to get a scholarship and made a lot of friends. I still see some of them, every three years.

Tokyo School of Music
Commercial Music Department, Recording Engineering Course Be Jintek (graduated in 1994)
When I was a high school student, I formed a band with some friends of mine and started to play the guitar. I studied music engineering at TSM. The best thing about my studying in Japan was that it broadened my own knowledge and understanding of music. I still keep myself informed about the Japanese music scene through my teachers, which is of great help to me. Thanks to TSM, I got an OJT with MIT Studio, which was also very helpful. After I graduated from TSM, I found employment at JanChen Studio and worked as a music engineer, composer, and arranger. I also gave lectures at Yellow Music School (the former name of Yellow School of Music) and took care of my junior fellows. I currently run Yellow School of Music, but I take care not to become proud and boastful, continuing to learn with my students.
