The Jikei Group COM unites chains of schools ranging from computers and the Internet to music and art.
Jikei Group COM trains students to be specialists in various fields such as Design (cars, graphics, games), the Internet, Computer Graphics, Magazine Editing, Music and Broadcasting, Dance, Ecology (animals, plants, the ocean, and environmental protection), Health, and Welfare. The students are trained through our special educational system: (1) practical learning (2) humanistic education (3) broad experience with affiliated universities and organizations in America and Australia (4) international internships.

Overseas Activities |
●Gospel ensemble
A gospel ensemble consisting of the students of the COM performs publicly every year at a church in NY under the leadership of Richard Hartly, the famous musical performer.
●Joint performance
Inviting the student band from Citrus College, one of the COM's
affiliated schools, is a part of the "Semester in Japan"
program. During their two-week stay in Japan, they perform publicly
with the gospel ensemble.
●Overseas Internship
Two internships in Australia are available for students; one is a feeding instructor internship, in which interns work at Tangalooma and learn about wild dolphins including their feeding; the other is a zoo keeper internship, in which interns work at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Both programs are highly evaluated.
●Los
Angeles Music Academy
Affiliated with every pro-musician department of the COM. A short-term training program in this academy, held in the second semester of the first year, provides special lessons for music students. Second-year students can study for one year as scholarship students, or as participants in a ten-week study abroad program.
●Citrus College
Affiliated with commercial music departments and music production
departments of the COM. A short-term training program in this
college is offered in the second semester of the first year.
The Citrus College band and the COM's gospel ensemble jointly
perform in the "Semester in Japan" program every year.
Second-year students can participate in a ten-week study abroad
program.
●The University of Queensland
Affiliated with departments of ecology in the COM, this university has various ecology-related programs. The short-term training program is offered in the second semester of the first year. A ten-week study abroad program provides second-year students with increased knowledge of their field.
●Mt. San Antonio College
Does academic exchange with pet business departments of the COM. Students of the course animal care pet trimming participate in a short-term training program in the second semester of the first year.
●GNOMON
INC
Does academic exchange with the Computer Graphics courses of the COM. Students learn the high technology of filmmaking with computer graphics through a short-term training program in the second semester of the first year, and take a study abroad program in the second year.
