Communication Arts Education Section

‘Outline
We work together with the creative industry to train students to be creative individuals who can be active immediately after they find employment . Our educational philosophy is based on the Jikei GroupΥs educational guidelines: Practical Education, Social Education, and International Education. Students acquire many necessary skills such as creative techniques, planning, and presentation through our unique system, "Co-operative educational system between industry and schools". This is a very practical educational system to help students to acquire skills as a professional. In this system, many companies in creative industries cooperate by offering assignments as a part of the curriculum and evaluating students' works. We also focus on providing students with international education such as computer education, Internet education, and English education, which are indispensable to workers in today's global world. We aim to help students make their dreams come true.

‘Special Education Activities
œCompany Project Program
After they accept an order from the company, students go about their work following the same process as professionals. They show their work to clients in a final presentation, and clients may select works for actual use by their companies.

œInternship Program
Students practice at actual workplaces. Through this experience, they find out how the real world of business works. They also find out what they need to focus on by understanding their strong points and weak ones.

‘Topics from the Education Section
œCreating Games with Computer Graphics
Using Computer Graphics, students created an F1 game for Sony Play Station 2. They worked so hard to create a real product that their work was selected by a famous company.

œHolding exhibitions
We hold an exhibition to promote the works of graduating students at the end of every school year. Students have a chance to present their works to companies, with the possibility of prospective employment.

œPreparation for NSCA Certification
We prepare students for NACA Personal Certification that is considered to be one of the most difficult examinations to pass in Japan. As a result of our efforts, we succeed in producing many successful applicants.
